Action Over Words.
Accountability Over Politics
What to Expect From Me:
Above all, you can and should expect availability and action from me. Nashville deserves leadership that listens, acts, and delivers real results for everybody. As a longtime advocate for our community, I’m not just running to represent District 13, I’m running to work for you. Learn more about my style and my commitments:
Marc “Alex” Seger
I’m a proud resident of District 13 with a deep love for Nashville and a passion for public service. I have an MBA from George Mason University, board experience managing a $140M budget, and a background in education and marketing—all of which I hope to put to work for our community.
Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad first. My beautiful wife works in family medicine, and we have a wonderful son, a cat named Gabriel, and a leopard gecko named Gucci. (If you count the outdoor cats I feed, then I guess I have a few more cats too!) I enjoy gardening, leather working, watching the NFL, and occasionally relaxing with a good bourbon.
I’m running to be a boots-on-the-ground, accountable, and available council member—someone who listens, acts, and shows up for every neighborhood in District 13.
Nashville Vision
Each program consists of its own weekly theme and activities, so your child has something new to anticipate with each week.
District Vision
You’ll be able to utilize or recycle supplies you already have at home to complete lesson activities. We’ll provide you with alternative options as well.
In Lieu of Donations
Our programs are curated for two different age groups, so every lesson offers the appropriate level of engagement for your little ones.
District Drives
I’m not waiting for complaints—I’m driving every street, meeting neighbors, and taking notes. District Drives is how I turn your concerns into action.
Activities you can work on together
While our programs encourage your little ones to become better independent learners, we’ve also included special opportunities for you to work together.
